Visitors Information
Bibra Lake and the surrounding bushland is an A-Class Conservation Reserve and is located in the
heart of the Beeliar Regional Park. The Bibra Lake wetland is a permanent water body and provides
an important drought refuge for waterbirds when other wetlands dry out during the summer
months.
Community programs offered include 'Breakfast with the Birds', 'FrogFests', wildflower walks, bush picnics and wetland festivals.
We are currently creating a photographic database and supporting materials to develop a more comprehensive community program. The Centre's staff and volunteers attend as guest speakers for Resident Associations or for specialist talks on landcare topics or wildlife.
